Business Sales Notice
Know what a listing tells you, and what it does not.
Financial and operational information
Advertisers supply prices, turnover, profit, assets, team size and other details. Ask which period and accounting basis each figure uses and obtain supporting documents. Reported profit may not mean EBITDA or owner-adjusted earnings. We do not audit a business simply by publishing its advertisement.
Images, confidentiality and status
Listing photographs should depict the advertised business and be used with permission. Where none are supplied, an image may be labelled as a sector illustration. A public teaser does not grant access to confidential information. Availability, asking price and transaction status can change; confirm them directly through the authorised party.
Acquisition decisions
There is no guarantee of profitability, finance, transferability, a successful sale or return on investment. Check ownership, authority, accounts, debts, tax, premises, licences, people and customer dependence with appropriate advisers. Agree what is included, the structure and completion conditions before committing funds.
Platform and third-party responsibilities
EBITDA Market facilitates advertising and introduction records. It does not hold acquisition deposits or become a party to a sale merely because a listing appears. Buyer, seller, broker, lender and adviser obligations need their own agreements. Report concerns to ebitda@mailfence.com. Nothing in this notice excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
