Cookies & device storage

Essential sign-in storage and optional installation, explained without a catch-all tracking claim.

Sign-in cookies

The __Host-ebitda_session cookie is an opaque account-session identifier. It is Secure, HttpOnly, scoped to the site and uses SameSite=Lax. Its maximum lifetime is 30 days; sign-out clears the current session. The __Host-ebitda_google cookie, used only when Google sign-in starts, protects the sign-in flow and has a 10-minute maximum lifetime. These are necessary for the authentication feature you request.

Home-screen app and offline files

If supported by your browser, the site can be added to your home screen. A service worker stores the public app shell, icons and built assets in browser Cache Storage. It does not cache community API responses, private member photographs, account data or payment responses. Installation is optional and does not remove membership requirements. Clear site data or uninstall the shortcut to remove browser-held files.

External services

Google sign-in and Stripe checkout, when enabled and chosen, open their own services and may use their own necessary cookies. Those services explain their storage in their privacy notices. Security and hosting infrastructure may use additional essential mechanisms to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics and advertising

The live site does not load the legacy third-party affiliate tracking script. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies must not be activated without an appropriate consent mechanism where required. We do not treat an enquiry, registration or the home-screen shortcut as agreement to unrelated tracking.

Your controls

Your browser lets you inspect, block or remove cookies and site storage. Blocking essential session cookies prevents sign-in and private account features from working. Clearing storage can sign you out and remove offline files; it does not cancel billing or delete server-held records. For questions contact ebitda@mailfence.com.
